Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers and sponsors at Tafakari are required to adhere to the following code of conduct.

We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

1. Code of Conduct

  • We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe harassment- free environment for everybody regardless of race, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, religion or technology choice.

  • We do not tolerate harassment such as offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

  • Offensive language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference activity, including talks, workshops, parties, twitter and other online media.

  • Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers. If by any chance you are being harassed or notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concern, please reach out to the Conference staff who can be identified as they will be wearing Tafakari branded clothing and other merchandise.

  • We expect participants to follow these rules at the conference and workshop venues and other social events.
